Professional appearance — Cables hidden, equipment discrete, crew in appropriate attire. The production should be invisible.

How We Structure Corporate Production

Pre-Event

Technical recce of the venue — power capacity, staging areas, load-in access
Timeline coordination with the event organiser — every segment mapped to the minute
Equipment specification — wireless mics, presentation audio, background music, DJ setup
Rehearsal or sound check — ideally the afternoon before

During the Event

Dedicated on-site technician managing all audio throughout the programme
Real-time level management — lower during dinner conversation, lifted for speeches, adjusted for entertainment

The Corporate DJ Approach

Our DJs programme corporate events differently than nightlife. The key differences:

Gradual build — The music respects the formal-to-relaxed arc of the evening. Background during dinner, slightly lifted after dessert, dance floor energy only when the audience is ready.
Reading the room — A 60-year-old board member and a 25-year-old intern are both in the audience. The music needs to work for everyone without defaulting to the lowest common denominator.
Professional presentation — Smart attire, low-profile setup, no MC antics unless requested. The DJ is part of the production team, not the centre of attention.
