DJ Lomax & Matthew Bee — Nadahnuće Remix

In the summer of 2021, a fresh remix of the legendary Dino Dvornik track “Nadahnuće” was released by our friend DJ Lomax from Switzerland. The story behind it started a year earlier, on the beach at Radisson Blu in Split, during DJ Matthew Bee’s residency at Mistral Beach Bar.

That setting mattered. Long beach days, a packed hospitality season, and a strong musical connection between residents and guests created the kind of atmosphere where ideas actually move. DJ Lomax remembers that mix of sun, sea, and music as the spark. Once he returned to Switzerland, he got to work, and by the following summer the remix was finished.

While the crew was relaxing in the shade at Mistral, Žele Maretić, host of “Želina Vesela Lista” on Radio Dalmacija, joined the conversation. The atmosphere was loose, funny, and effortless, so one idea led to another: DJ Lomax and DJ Matthew Bee were invited onto Žele’s Thursday night show to talk about the remix and the season around it. Matthew Bee still jokes that his contribution at the time was equal parts DJ, prosciutto slicer, and wine carrier.

Split’s DJ Scene Grew With Tourism, but Stayed Boutique

As Croatia’s tourism sector accelerated, particularly after Ultra Europe established itself in Split, the local DJ scene expanded with it. What started as a smaller boutique network of trusted collaborators grew into a broader agency structure. Even so, the real value never came from volume alone. It came from fit: matching the right DJ to the right hospitality setting, and keeping the standard high.

That shift helped define Cosmic Production’s place in Croatia’s evolving music and hospitality scene. Our DJs now perform and hold residencies at venues such as Bokamorra, Mistral Beach Bar, Joe’s Beach, selected boats, and hotels including Ambasador, Amphora, and Radisson Blu. International tourism raised expectations, and the answer was not louder entertainment. It was better curation, stronger taste, and more reliable execution.
