Croatia’s DJ scene has historically been male-dominated. Visit any beach club, hotel lobby, or wedding reception on the Adriatic coast and the DJ behind the decks is, more often than not, a man. That’s changing — slowly, but measurably — and our roster is part of that shift.
This isn’t a corporate diversity statement. It’s a practical observation from running a DJ agency for years: female DJs bring perspectives, energy, and booking appeal that strengthen our offering. Clients specifically request them. Venues report different crowd dynamics. And the DJs themselves are consistently among our most professional, prepared, and reliable performers.

Niki is one of our most-booked DJs at Mistral Beach Club. Her reading of the daytime beach crowd — knowing when to push energy and when to pull back — is exceptional. She understands that a beach club at 14:00 needs a completely different approach than the same venue at 20:00, and she navigates that transition with a naturalness that experienced DJs often lack.
Her style leans toward deep house, organic house, and nu-disco — warm, textured music that works as both background and foreground depending on listener attention. At Mistral, she’s become a favourite with the afternoon regulars who specifically request her sessions.
Beyond Mistral, Niki performs at private events, restaurant openings, and corporate functions. Her versatility across settings is exactly what we look for in roster DJs — the ability to read any room and deliver the right energy.

K2B came through our DJ Masterclass programme and immediately stood out for her energy and crowd connection. Where some DJs hide behind the decks, K2B performs — she engages with the crowd, reacts visibly to the music, and creates a feedback loop of energy between the booth and the dance floor.
Her style is more energetic than Niki’s — tech house, groovy house, and festival-influenced selections that work at higher-energy venues and evening events. She’s particularly effective at private parties and corporate events where the brief is “get people dancing.”
K2B represents exactly what the masterclass programme aims to produce: technically skilled, professionally conducted, and genuinely passionate about performing.

Zhezha brings a different aesthetic to the roster. Her profile portraits — shot during a masterclass editorial session — have become some of our most-shared DJ images on social media. But beyond the visual, Zhezha’s musical identity is distinct: deeper, moodier selections that work beautifully in intimate settings — wine bars, boutique hotel lobbies, and sophisticated dinner events.
She’s early in her professional career but developing rapidly. The combination of musical taste, visual presence, and professional attitude makes her a DJ we’re investing in for the long term.
Clients who book female DJs often report specific benefits:
Different crowd dynamics. At mixed-gender events — weddings, corporate parties, social gatherings — a female DJ can create a more inclusive dance floor. Female guests sometimes feel more comfortable approaching the booth, making requests, or starting to dance when a woman is performing.
Fresh musical perspectives. Our female DJs consistently bring tracks and genres that our male DJs don’t — different discovery habits, different music communities, different reference points. This diversity of taste strengthens our collective ability to match any event brief.
Visual representation. For brand events, corporate functions, and venues that value diversity, booking a female DJ sends a visible signal about the event’s values. Several of our corporate clients specifically request mixed-gender DJ lineups for their events.
Press and content opportunities. Female DJs in a male-dominated market are a story. Venue features, event press coverage, and social media content all benefit from showing a diverse lineup. Our editorial photography of DJ Niki, K2B, and Zhezha consistently outperforms other DJ content in engagement.
We’re honest about where things stand. Female DJs are still a minority in Croatia’s professional scene. The barriers are real: fewer female role models at a local level, the late-night and travel demands of the profession, and occasional client bias that defaults to male DJs for no good reason.
What we can control is our pipeline. The DJ Masterclass actively recruits female participants. Our roster evaluation is skill-and-professionalism first, with no bias in either direction. And when clients ask us to recommend a DJ, we present our best match for the event — which is increasingly often a woman.
We don’t book DJs by gender — we book by fit. But if you specifically want a female DJ for your event, or want to discuss a mixed-gender lineup, contact us. We’ll recommend the right performer for your venue, audience, and music brief.
