Why a Split-based production house matters

  • 90-minute backup turnaround: If a microphone fails 1 hour before the ceremony, a replacement is at the venue before you notice. Our warehouse is in the city.
  • Heritage permit experience: We have worked Diocletian's Palace + Peristyle weddings. We know the city's permit process, the noise cutoffs, and which courtyards actually work for events.
  • No island surcharge: Wedding venues in Split, Solin, Trogir, Kaštela, Omiš, and Klis all benefit from zero ferry overhead. Pricing reflects this.
  • Walking-distance vendor coordination: Our team works with Split planners, florists, photographers, and venues regularly. Coordination meetings are face-to-face.

Split Wedding FAQ

How much does a Split wedding cost end-to-end with Cosmic Production?

For sound + DJ + ceremony lighting at a Split hotel or villa: EUR 1,200–2,500. With full production (lighting design, multiple zones, technician for the day, microphones for officiant + speeches): EUR 2,500–4,500. Full multi-day villa weddings on the Split Riviera with rehearsal, ceremony, and reception coverage: EUR 3,500–6,500+. All ranges exclude 25% VAT.

Can you do a wedding inside Diocletian's Palace?

Yes — we have run weddings inside the Palace and Peristyle area. The city of Split requires specific permits for events in the Palace zone. We coordinate with your planner on the permit application, work with the strict 22:00 noise cutoff for the heritage area, and use compact discreet equipment that respects the UNESCO setting. Ceremony audio is usually battery-powered.

What is your same-day availability for Split weddings?

Same-day delivery in Split is included in our pricing (we are based here). For weddings, we always arrive at least 2–3 hours before guest arrival for full sound check and lighting test. Last-minute emergencies (a microphone failure 1 hour before the ceremony, an extra speaker needed) can be addressed within 30 minutes — our warehouse is in the city.

Do you handle Klis Fortress weddings?

Yes. Klis weddings need extra planning: generator power, weighted equipment for windy conditions, a backup plan if the access road is closed for events. We have the access logistics worked out and bring the right kit for the venue.

When is the best season for a Split wedding?

Peak season runs May through October. June and September are the sweet spots — warm but not crushing heat, fewer cruise-ship crowds in the Old Town. July and August are busiest and most expensive. April and October work for indoor venues. We book most Split weddings 6–9 months in advance for peak season.

Can guests fly into Split for the wedding?

Split Airport (SPU) has direct flights from most European capitals. Most destination weddings on the Split Riviera have guests arriving 2–3 days before for a welcome dinner and leaving the day after. We coordinate with your planner if you need a DJ for a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch.
